A striking triangle marks the "12" o'clock position; in the past, a cursory glance had to suffice for pilots to recognise the position of the hands beyond doubt in order to reliably read the time. The large Arabic numerals and additional indexes on a black background as well as the diamond-shaped hands underline the good readability. In addition, all elements are noctilucent thanks to the use of the latest luminous material SuperLumiNova BG W9, which illuminates the dial with a blue glow in the dark.

Functional details

Easy to grip crown

The conical crown is designed with its shape and external fluting so that it can also be easily operated by gloved hands. An important element, the usual "uniform" of the aviation pioneers of days gone by consisted, among other things, of a leather cap, flying goggles and leather gloves.

DAV3023

Sceletonised DAVOSA rotor

The fourfold individually screwed case back with viewing window reveals the Swiss automatic calibre, DAV3023, which performs its service reliably inside. The highlight is the newly developed skeletonised DAVOSA rotor, which repeats the compass rose from the brand logo and is finely decorated with Geneva stripes.
