True to the maxim of French actor and motorsports fanatic Jean-Paul Belmondo, “A racing driver is a pilot who flies too low”, the DAVOSA Newton Pilot Rally Chronograph, limited to 300 pieces, pays tribute to those early heroes of the road who conquered the hazardous racetracks of the time with their courage, skill and a healthy dose of bravado. The design of the automatic chronograph masterfully combines speed and time measurement with the DNA of the classic sport of motor racing. The high-precision Swiss movement ensures absolute reliability.
The design of the 42 mm stainless steel case with its domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal is eminently
classic, and is characterised by an outstanding finish with satined and polished detailing.
DAV3052
TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE
The DAVOSA Newton Pilot Rally Chronograph, however, offers the very latest in technology. Here, absolute reliability is guaranteed by a finely finished DAV 3052 based on a SW510, with a power reserve of around 60 hours and excellent rate accuracy.
It is visible through the four-fold screw-down, glass back, as is an additional highlight: the completely skeletonised rotor made of gun-plated BEYOND STEEL® in the form of a stylised steering wheel. Despite its seemingly delicate appearance, the high density of this high-performance material makes it an excellent power transmitter.
