The watch combines functionality with elegant design that reflects the unique play of light underwater. The dial with its fine sunburst finish echoes the colours of the underwater world: the centre features a medium shade of blue that becomes darker towards the edge, creating optical depth. The coloured insert on the bezel is made of high-tech ceramic and is extremely scratch-resistant with a hardness (according to Vickers) of 1250 HV. It is also heat and corrosion resistant and has a fine feel thanks to its high-gloss polish.

The entire blue high-tech ceramic bezel, hand-applied hour markers and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova® in a special light blue colour, ensuring that the blue gradations on the dial remain visible even in the dark.
