Polished and satin-finished surfaces

Every facet an edge

The facets of the fixed bezel take the shape of kites, derived from the geometry of the DAVOSA compass rose. Polished and satin-finished surfaces alternate and meet in sharp, clean edges. Hence the name: Cupex derives from the Latin cuspis, the point. In geometry, the cusp is the point where two curves meet.

10.2 mm height, 100 m (10 ATM)

Built thin, made for the water

Thin and water-resistant: two requirements that usually stand in each other's way in watchmaking. The Cupex unites both, with a case height of just 10.2 mm and water resistance to 100 m (10 ATM). A thin watch you do not have to take off to go swimming.

Clous de Paris pattern with compass rose fragments

A dial with depth

The dial is structured with a Clous de Paris pattern. Fragments of the compass rose reappear in its pyramid-shaped elevations, and depending on how the light falls, the surface appears calm or lively. The hand-applied indices and the hands carry Super-LumiNova® BGW9 and remain legible in the dark.

Swiss automatic movement DAV 3021

The compass rose within

Through the screw-down exhibition caseback, the rotor in compass rose design is on view, the DAVOSA brand symbol. With every movement of the wrist, it winds the Swiss automatic movement DAV 3021 (based on Sellita SW200-1). At DAVOSA, the compass rose stands for orientation, reliability and precision; here it turns with you.

No visible transition

Integrated stainless steel bracelet

Case and bracelet merge with no visible transition and sit close to the wrist. The flat, gently curved folding clasp follows the line of the arm and opens with a push-button release in a single movement.
