What makes a true dive watch?
A dive watch is an instrument. Underwater, what counts is not showcase detail but functions you can rely on. The unidirectional bezel marks the start of your dive. It can only be turned in one direction, so that if in doubt, the elapsed dive time is shown as longer, never shorter – meaning you surface too early rather than too late. The screw-down crown and screw-down caseback keep the case sealed. Luminous material on the hands, indices and bezel ensures you can read the time at depth and at night. All DAVOSA dive watches meet the requirements of ISO 6425. We deliberately focus on these criteria instead of reinventing the design.
Dive watches by DAVOSA
The Argonautic is our professional diver, water-resistant to 300 metres. Its 41.5 mm and 43 mm models feature an automatic helium escape valve for saturation dives. The Argonautic 39 brings the professional diver to a compact 39.5 mm: water-resistant to 200 metres and without a helium valve, which makes it particularly comfortable to wear. The Argonautic Lumis glows with tritium gas light sources for at least 15 years, with no need to be charged by light first. The Argonautic Celeos with its deep blue aventurine dial and the Argonautic Meteorite with a dial cut from the Muonionalusta meteorite stand out with exceptional dials. Every meteorite dial is unique.
The Ternos Professional 68h is water-resistant to 300 metres, offers a 68-hour power reserve and a ceramic bezel with luminous scale. The Ternos Professional Chronograph adds a stopwatch function and tachymeter to the line. The 40 mm Ternos Diver is water-resistant to 200 metres and as much at home in the office as on the reef. The 36.5 mm Ternos Medium is made for slimmer wrists and is likewise water-resistant to 200 metres. We developed the Apnea Diver together with freediving athlete Nik Linder, specifically for freediving; it too is water-resistant to 200 metres.
Swiss automatic for every day
All DAVOSA dive watches are powered by Swiss automatic movements, such as the DAV 3021 based on the proven Sellita SW200-1. The Ternos Professional 68h runs on the DAV 3121 calibre, based on a movement by La Joux-Perret. They are made in Switzerland. Sapphire crystal, ceramic or BEYOND STEEL® bezel inserts and solid stainless steel bracelets with tool-free WaveSlide fine adjustment make them watches you can wear every day, underwater and on land.
Which dive watch suits you?
For slimmer wrists, the Ternos Medium (36.5 mm) or the Argonautic 39 (39.5 mm) are ideal. The Ternos Diver (40 mm) is the versatile all-rounder. If you are looking for presence and full professional specification, choose the Argonautic (41.5 / 43 mm) or the Ternos Professional (42 mm). For diving in darkness, the Argonautic Lumis with tritium is the first choice.
