INNOVATIVE CONSTRUCTION
Just like their automotive colleagues from the 50-60s, the developers at DAVOSA have been particularly creative with the dial of the Newton Speedometer. On the lowest level, the hour hand has been replaced by a disc that reliably indicates the current hour in a window in the upper third of the next dial level by means of the red arrow marking. An index scale refers to the minutes, which the only conventional hand circles from the centre with aplomb. The outer frame is formed by a third level which, instead of the usual hour markers, repeats the minutes in steps of 5 in a no-frills classical typography. In the centre, the permanent seconds hand discreetly rotates in the form of a matt silver-coloured disc with a red line accent.
