For DAVOSA brand ambassador Nik Linder, the first weeks of the year are always characterized by many trade fair dates. The big highlight is certainly the "boot" in Düsseldorf. The largest water sports and boat fair in the world. Around 1,900 exhibitors from 60 countries present their premieres, maritime products and services at the "boot"  Düsseldorf and offer an overview of the entire world market of yacht and water sports. Diving areas around the world are presented as well as diving clothing, diving courses or fascinating underwater shots. The boat fair in Düsseldorf offers all "water lovers" many opportunities for individual advice. In addition, boats, yachts and accessories can be inspected live directly. Today he describes some impressions of the "boot" and also of the previous Y40 in Italy:

After the relaxed days during Christmas and new years eve, the new free diving season starts with the fairs. This year I went to the Salon de la plonge the french show in Paris. Together with my buddy and photographer Phil Simha we presented our first french book „Apneé“ the translation of our german bestseller „Apnoe“ which has been on the market for five years now. Wer were happy to sign and sell all the books, the publisher provided - a good start for upcoming french bestseller - I no we hope. Between the two fairs I paid a visit to the deepest indoor dive center in the world - the Y40 in Padua Italy. Training, Teaching in 33 degrees celcius warm thermal water - priceless ! In Düsseldorf the „Boot Show“ is the biggest diving fair. And for years I have been taking part as a ambassador of free diving. We celebrated not only the fifth birthday of our first german book but also presented the english translation of our second book „the water and the breath“ , which is available as both Book and E-Book. The Boot is always very busy, as most of the worldwide companies of the diving industry are coming, such as Dive Ressorts, Magazines, Photographers, Manufacturers, Diving Associations and many more. For the numerous visitors, the Boot offers a wide range of activities, like presentations, lectures, workshops, New Products, consultations, and of course discounts and much more. So I was also busy meeting people, fix appointments, holding workshops, signing books, interviews and so on. The best ist to meet all the people you have been with in the last years, on tours, journeys, courses and workshops. But in the end you are always happy you have again survived the overwhelming amount of people you meet and see, especially when you are a silence loving Freediver.
